I have not added anything to this blog for ages as I realised that all you need to do was re-read from the beginning to find out what we are up to now!

During our recent 'jaunt' to UKsville we were joined by the aged P's and took a trip down to see the SS Great Britain. All sparkly on top and rather holey below!

I've just had two glorious weeks in England, where the sun shone everyday. The main reason for going back was to go to my cousin Alison's wedding in Bristol so here are the requisite photos.

This is unbelivable! The powers that be have decived that the current UAE coastline is 'too irregular for effective planning' therefore it has been decidee to 'straighten it out! Someone has quite literally taken a ruler, joined the tops of the islands and they are simply going to 'fill it in'! Apparently this procedure will facilitate planning, improve communications, bring the coastline into line with the other perfectly straight borders between Oman and Saudi and increase the amount of land available for development. Like we don't have enough already!
