drip, drip, drip goes the water

Last week Stephen rings a man at work to request that our two water tanks be cleaned. A couple of days later 3 men turn up at our house armed with mops, buckets and wellies. They got to work for a while then came to find me to ask were the fuse box and master switch was - which took a while using sign language - a few hours later they tried to get me to sign a blank form for completing the work. I filled in the form for them and got them to put the tops back on the tanks seeing as they had left them open. It's good to know that you don't have a dead pigeon floating around in your water supply, but you hardly want to advertise a possible home (this happened to a friend of ours in the last couple of weeks).

The next day we notice a leak coming from the tank on the roof so, after another phone call to the man at work, a team of guys shows up, fiddles around for an hour then comes back down to say all is fine. I check the tap that water is still coming trough then fill-in and sign their blank form.

The next morning while having a shower I realise the water pressure is minimal. Stephen pops up to the roof to find the power to the pump and the stop cocks all turned off! So far the leak hasn't come back, so fingers crossed.
