Flowering desert

Seeing as we have had rather a lot of rain this winter compared to most, it's hardly surprising that plants and flowers are springing up all over the place. I took this one a few weeks ago, it was all over the place but I have no idea what it is.

Pauls exotic looking plant however is called a maltese mushroom and you can read all about it here.

Obviously it is Eremobium aegyptiacum! From the mustard family, locally known as rahadh.
