Abu Dabbling

We have been tagged by Enid who's very funny blog is third-person singular. We have, however, got to comment on five things each but we may choose the subject. So I'm getting in first with the easy one leaving Stephen to think of something amusing/interesting? well maybe but at least related.

Five activities in five days -as performed by Helen, Keith and us during their recent visit.



Surfing at wild wadi water park in Dubai. As well as these surf machines they also have lots of rides and slides all while you are on a rubber ring.







Diving or Snorkeling on the East Coast. Always a good option with guests. This time was very cold and visibility was poor but we saw turtles, sharks and tons of colourful fish.




Skiing on real snow at SkiDubai. This was our first time here and I chickened out after 2 goes. Stephen's hooked though so I might be persuaded to go back, next time I'll try snow blades.







Walking in the desert at sunset, this also involves sliding down dunes on your bum and making sand angels - both thankfully un-photographed.






Attending the Abu Dhabi Golf Championships and following 'A list' golfers around the course - unfortunately I'm non the wiser as to who any of them were. It was a lovely day though, the sun was shining and Stephen and I got to walk on grass - Ooooh!
